Here is a small project with the comfort control unit (KSG) of the B6/B7 Passat. I wrote a small Windows application that makes it possible to decrypt and change various data from the dump of the EEPROM (ST95320) and to clone the
KSG as a small highlight

The most interesting piece of information for most here will be the PIN. This is the WFS pin with which you can learn keys, provided they have been prepared for the car. It is not easy to learn a used key with VCDS/VCP.However, it is possible to teach a new ELV with this pin if, for example, someone’s old ELV is defective.

Operation is quite simple. Open the dump that was read out with the “open CCM Dump” button. You can then change the data as you like or simply view it. If 6 CS bytes are known from the engine control unit, you can enter them above and decrypt all CS bytes and the MAC with the “decrypt all” button.

It is also possible to clone the real estate data, practical when exchanging B6 KSG for B7 KSG to use the functions of the 7N0 gateway Ⓒ Simply open the old and new dump and write the generated dump into the new KSG.

Read EEPROM:

The KSG is behind the glove compartment. If you open it you can read the EEPROM 95320, But watch out! Do not destroy the KSG be careful with it without your Passat will not start anymore. In no case write any other dumps into the EEPROM.

Reading out via OBD is not possible with any program (VVDI, AVDI, etc.)! The only possibility remains to read out the EEPROM using a programmer and clip.
